Geoff is a qualified Motor Mechanic and has worked at TestSafe since 1985, specialising in flameproof and dynamometer testing of diesel engine systems for emission and performance, primarily for use in underground coal mines. Prior to joining TestSafe he was a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with the RAAF. During service with the RAAF, he completed post-trade courses that included, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, Automotive Air-conditioning, Aviation Fuel Quality Control and Instructional Techniques.
He is a NATA signatory for Diesel Engine systems; rubber and related products; and mechanical tests on assemblies. He sits on the Australian Standards Committee for Diesel Engine Systems for use in underground coal mines. He is also a member of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers.
Geoff also holds semi-trade certificates for fork lift trucks and overhead travelling cranes.
