Laurie has more than 15 years experience with mechanical engineering testing at TestSafe and prior to that a further 20 years of experience with the Australian Atomic Energy Commission. He is a NATA signatory for a wide variety of tests including fire extinguishers, trolley jacks, conveyor belts, portable ramps, metal coatings, lifting gear and portable fuel containers.
In addition he is also a Signatory for a range of Australian Dangerous Goods Code tests. Laurie has completed both a welding supervisors course and a welding inspectors course. He is a member of the Australian Standards Committee for Non-Destructive Testing of Metal and Materials, and is a Member of the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing.
