Lionel has had extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical engineering equipment particularly in the sugar and flour milling industries, and with research facilities.

Most recently he was employed for 10 years with the University of Sydney's Optical Fibre Technology Centre where he gained detailed experience in data acquisition and characterisation of devices.
