Michael is involved in a wide range of activities at TestSafe including fire ground liaison, non-destructive testing, and testing services generally. He has an extensive background in fire fighting and is currently Deputy Captain of the nearby RFS. He is Chair of the TestSafe Occupational Health and Safety Committee and a senior first aider. He is qualified in Advanced Resuscitation, and Emergency and Disaster Management. Michael is also certificated to drive forklift trucks, front and skid steer loaders.

He has a Certificate 2 in Fire Operations, a Certificate in Land-care and Ecosystems, and is studying for a Certificate 4 in Mechanical Engineering.
